Who Made these 1:200 models

Postby grwebster » Fri Oct 23, 2009 3:21 pm

I recently acquired a lot of Wiking wartime ID models and found these two planes in the lot.
They do not have the Wiking logo {2 W's}, are not painted, and are injection molded, not resin.
This one has ' P.Z.L. 37 underneath

this one has nothing underneath but it is a Siebel Si 204, I think

The first model shown is a 1/200 scale reproduction of a Wiking PZL 37 Los Polish bomber. It looks in this photo to be a Dr.Grope Modellbau reproduction produced from the original Wiking tooling in a styrene plastic. The thick prop discs and styrene spinners are a strong indication. The second model is definitely a Grope reproduction. The aircraft is a Siebel 204D.

GR, I fully agree with Ron. Both are Gropes in my opinion.

Return to 1:200 scale aircraft. Both Military IDs and past or current makes.
