In fact I will use high viscosity, "simple" glue to attach the many windows. From adhesion point of view it will be sufficient and it is easy to remove.

But .. now I decided to refinish the main canopy, as the glued frame was impossible to paint accurately. I will use a slightly different strategy now. More to come soon... 8-)

Front section and B-stand completed.

Still missing the decals and the control wire from antenna to rudder.

Wonderful! Will you post some shots of the overall airplane? A picture taken outside might give it a true scale appearnce.

Thanks, Tom

After 1,5 years of work the Heinkel was finished today. For size comparison I have placed a Britain Motorcycler with it. The Britain is scale 1/32, the Heinkel is 1/50.

Thank you all for following this thread.

PS: I used Eagle Strike decals (Made in USA) for the Iron Crosses. The quality is outstanding. The Swastis are made in Germany  as Thermo decals. They need clear coat cover before application.

Please have a look at the gear. It was left unpainted as it was before. It is a good sign of real age of this model.

WOW!! A FANTASTIC FINISH OF ALL YOUR EFFORT!! It was worth watching the progress and you have to feel accomplished. You should also figure out a way to give us a "tour" of your other models some time. It appears that you have an impressive collection.

Congratulations Again!

Leaving the landgear as found was brilliant.
That is quite a model.
Did you ever discover who made it?
