Andi, those are a couple of real beauties and in a not so common livery. DO you know who the manufacturer was?

A bit off topic, but...here's some news on real BAC 1-11s now flying in the US. The last one I personally saw was in 1999 - as a biz jet.
"According to several sources including the FAA registration database Northrop Grumman has purchased a fourth BAC 1-11, this one is N111JX. Here is a shot that Senga took of it at TEB back in 2008:

It's last tracked flight on Flight Aware was into Mohave on the 10th of December:

Does anyone know if this aircraft will be joining the fleet? Or is it a parts aircraft? The FAA database shows it registered to NG at BWI, so I think it is probably the former."
