I recall seeing an article about these cast metal Wildcats from the 1930's. Does anyone have info on the manufacturer? It has a wingspan of about 11"
Thanks, Tom

Tom,

I have one of these but mine did not come with a stand....do you know if your stand is the original?

No unfortunately. I had an extra stand so that I could to keep the plane "in-the-air" so the prop was safe. Mine had a threaded hole in the belly so it had something once. Let me dig some more.
There are now two in the shop. Neither has the original stand but you can see the need for them being high enough to not damage the new NOS props. The gray one is waiting on 1942 markings to be applied.
