Aero Peru or Faucett were not Lockheed customers. The aircraft they operated were bought or leased used aircraft. Lockheed never made an L-1011 sale to a Latin American carrier.

APA Dominicana, and, to include all Hispanic countries, Iberia also used L-1011's. But you are right, they were not sold directly by Lockheed.

I'd loved to see the L-1011 in the colors of more Latin airlines, like Aerolineas Argentinas, Ecuatoriana, LAB Lloyd Aereo Boliviano, Mexicana, Dominicana, and...ejem, my country's own airline, Prinair.

SB-1, the original Matchbox Lear Jet, was also available in DHL colors - albeit old colors. They also released a DHL version of their SB-9, Cessna 402.
The current Matchbox C130 and DC3 are stretchers of designations, although the colors are good. I assume you mean the "new" C130 and not SB-34?

SB-34 was the "original" C-130 release from the early/mid '90s. Why they dropped it, I don't know. It looks better than the "new" C-130 which MB doesn't even call a C-130. It's a Heavy Hauler or something. This is similar to MBs release of a "new" 737, which is much better than their "old" 737.
I suppose they changed vendors somewhere over in the far east and either someone wasn't happy, or an accident happened with the molds...perhaps both! I'm sure there are others, like the 777 which changed molds after it's initial 1994 release.
Here's SB-34...and the older 737.

Yeah that's it! You can tell because, it's obvious, that is the same plane on your photo but with different colors. Do you have the DHL DC-3s?

BTW the Brittania 737 is one of the Matchboxes I am looking for like crazy.....I'd love to have that one and the Middle East Airlines 747 they also released.

And Im still holding out hope that we may see Delta and Southwest on Matchbox issues very soon!!

Hope is hope, but I haven't seen a "real" airline livery from Matchbox for some time now - perhaps a couple of years! SWA doesn't fly the 737-800 (yet!), so it's even farther down the line.
I'm sure I have the MEA 747...a 747-200, again, an old issue. I think that's my only Brittania - of any kind!
Are you saying that MB did the old C-130 in DHL colors?
I have stopped listing the "new" variations...but...I'll take a look at the new one...gotta be here somewhere!
