Luftwaffe 1/50-scale Training Models

Postby BWBrown » Fri Mar 05, 2010 7:31 pm

Hi -
I promised to provide more information about German-made 1/50-scale models. This is the first installment. Attached are photos of models that appear to have been used to train fighter pilots. In additional to being fully painted, gas tanks and the vulnerable points of engines are outlined in red pencil. Not much of the red pencil markings are still visible, but hopefully it will give you some idea. I'd certainly like to know more about these, as well, so if anyone has any ideas, please offer them! Thanks! -- Bryan
